Hopefully tattoo removal is something you never have to consider. After all a tattoo is a permanent piece of art – that’s why we get them in the first place!
However several reasons can occur, some tattoos do end up being a source of regret.
Here are some examples:
- Your tattoo is in a visible place on your body. This could be reason that you don’t qualify for a new job.
- You have a tattoo which is related to your ex-partner and this would embarrass your new partner.
- Your skin has stretched as it got older. The tattoo looks horrible.
- The tattoo didn’t turn out at all the way you intended it to be.
- Your taste has changed and the tattoo you have doesn’t fit with your new taste.
There are several methods which can be used to remove a tattoo. Some are more effective than others. But remember removing a tattoo is never quick, easy or cheap. In fact is more expensive than getting a tattoo. It can vary from hundreds to thousands of dollars and generally your insurance won’t pay for it.
The most common tattoo removal methods are surgery, chemical peels, fade away creams, dermabrasion and laser. Some methods are effective than others and some are more painful than others. Make sure to do your research to find out which methods fits your needs best.
